Has Billy lost his mind? We all knew when he quit his day job, he might be dumpster diving to support himself, but Billy built an airplane out of what he found!

Billy says he built the airplane out of 13 junked bicycles, 1 futon, a children's bed, 2 ceiling fans, 1 queen size bed frame, and gets over 100MPG.

Quote:
The engine is a 33.5cc Robin four cycle built by Subaru and sold, along with a one speed gearbox and mounting kit by Staton Inc.

Billy has christened the aircraft: The WackeMall-1.

This might be the coolest thing I've ever seen, but you've got to wonder about how he got that thing approved by the FAA?

Billy of course doesn't want us to know he will be flying with the Blue Angels over downtown Greensboro during Fun 4th.

And I think I've seen that plane before too. Thanks for the links and thanks for reading!
