Today the Same Sex Marriage Law WAR BEGINS!!!

George Bush is doing nothing but claiming war against its own citizens of our country. While most everyone realizes this is nothing more then a publicity stunt to provide support to his administration; what he will end up doing is starting a civil war.

He is the anti-Martin Luther King JR of civil rights for gays and lesbians. He stands their smugly opening his speech with "all religions, all beliefs", but he is wrong. We don't all believe as you Mr Bush.

He talks about the sanctity of marriage, and says that Americans have chose and spoke that the traditional definition of marriage include only that of a man and wife.

He states that activist judges have made an attempt to redefine marriage. He uses terms like 70% of Americans support a ban on gay marriage. But he forgets that this is not a a nation of majority but a protection of the minority as well. Otherwise we'd still have slavery, we'd still not have women's rights.

George Bush makes it sound like this is what the country wants. Does he realize that an amendment to the constitution banning same sex marriage will create civil war? There will be a backlash. If he thinks there was a fall-out when immigration hit the forefront, he should just wait until the minority starts coming out of hiding and demands its rights in America. Unlike immigrants, same sex families do control large portions of American economy, have political power, and more importantly have the ability to seriously cause a pain in your ass. It will be war, and it begins today.

Hasn't this dead horse been beat enough? They are just gearing up to divide the nation once again for election time. Things like this are used as political ploys by both sides to avert eyes from the REAL issues facing our nation. And we fall for it every time.

Everyone by now knows that with the divorce rate what it is, and the very high number of infidelities, that it is a joke to think of protecting a "sanctity of marriage" with a law. No law will stop divorce or cheating which also works to destroy 'sanctity'. If you make a law preventing same-sex, better make one to outlaw divorce and cheating as well.
