Diet Mountain Dew

One of the first diet soda's I tried when I finally made the decision to go from regular sugared soda, to unleaded was . It's been a tough road for this soda addict to overcome her urge of drinking down litters of soda sugary goodness. But overall, I've been good. I've even been able to treat myself from time to time with a regular soda, and still been able to get back on the wagon. But recently I discovered something so wonderful, so unbelievable, so incredible it can't possibly be diet soda....

I discovered: Diet Mountain Dew

This stuff is seriously so good, I've been continuously checking the label to see if for some reason I missed where the nutritional information has been misprinted. 0 calories, and 0 grams of sugar? NO WAY!!!!

Yes way. This stuff is so good, I'm actually depressed I had to suffer through regular diet sodas for so long. How in the world they were able to make Mountain Dew taste normal, and all the other sodas taste like donkey urine, I have no idea. It's a miracle as far as I'm concerned. I might just start believing in God after this, who knows.

Beth, I'm so glad you've discovered the joys of Diet Dew. There's nothing like it. Very Happy

I recently learned, to my delight, that some restaurants in eastern North Carolina serve Diet Mt. Dew. I was shocked and thrilled! In Greensboro, it's Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi only, and you get other diet drinks only when you buy them at the store. Now that I know that Diet Mt. Dew is a fountain option for restaurants, I'm going to start requesting they get it!!

FYI, the caffeine-free version of Diet Mt. Dew is not quite as delicious as the fully-leaded original.

I didn't even know they made non-caffeinated version. Kinda defeats the purpose of doing the dew, doesn't it?

Shannon was telling me that the Diet Mountain Dew actually has more caffeine then the regular... I'll have to look that up.

wow, I can't believe that anybody actually drinks diet dew and LIKES it! I guess that if you start with it, maybe it's not so bad, but if you've lived on regular Dew for years, then the diet stuff just tastes.... horrible.

Now Mountain Dew Livewire: THAT'S some good stuff. I wish I knew who to beat up at Pepsi that discontinued that, and had the nerve to keep that Code Red crap around!

Oh, and hello to everyone else in the forum...
