But I believe in it. I believe in the foot-long. Science just want to redefine the foot-long.

Indeed, whose foot are we talking about? What makes you believe your "foot" is 12 inches?

Subway Official Response wrote:'With regards to the size of the bread and calling it a footlong, "SUBWAY FOOTLONG" is a registered trademark as a descriptive name for the sub sold in Subway® Restaurants and not intended to be a measurement of length.'

'The length of the bread baked in the restaurant cannot be assured each and every time as the proofing process may vary slightly each time in the restaurant.'

so lets see some 13'' subs to average out the 11"ones ...

An exercise in legalese. "Foot long" is merely a name, not a promise of dimension. Just like the 42" TVs you see aren't 42" wide (one I saw today was 40" exactly) and probably not even 42" diagonally.

Personally I'd just like to see them sell some French fries. What's a sandwich without fries on it?

You know, I'm not sure they can make that statement, because, well they sell 6" subs and they're just 12"ers cut in half.

I call B.S. on this one.
