Rome was absolutely lovely. I ate untold amounts of pasta and pizza, then roamed around Rome with a smile on my face. I stayed at a little hostel near the Termini called The Yellow, which had a bar underneath. It's a fabulous city, and I can't believe how much history is there.
I did stand in line for the Vatican, but the Pope was doing an invite-only event, and well, I wasn't invited.
