Reagan Presidential Library goes Disney?!?

Yeah... I saw the headline and thought maybe they were adding an animatronic Reagan robot to the library. After all, after Ronnie left the Oval Office, the Hall of Presidents had not so much use for their Reagan robot. Some of you might know how that show goes: Washington, Lincoln and maybe a couple other "landmark" robots give speeches to the audience, as does the current President. All the others just stand when their name is called.

But no... Disney is giving the Reagan Library (already far too big for the man and his place in history) virtually a whole wing dedicated to the history... of the Disney company. WTF?

Sure, it's a temporary exhibit, but it sure smacks of political endorsement, something that the Disney corporation ought to be highly hesitant to do. Particularly with regards to such a polarizing figure as Ronald bloody Reagan. Myself, being a liberal person politically, but also a big fan of the experience of patronizing Disney vacation facilities around the world... I'm personally offended by this endorsement.

While I would love to see the material from the Disney archives, I would NEVER set foot in the place it will be housed over the next several months. Bad choice, Disney!

Perhaps it's an extension of the ride for the Pirates of the Caribbean?
