All I can think of is "Rock Me Sexy Jesus" .
I guess freedom of speech goes both ways.

The Christian protesters gathered outside the theatre ahead of the opening night of the production on Tuesday.

I just wonder how can people protest about a show they haven't yet seen? Pre-judging? Nothing like jumping on the bandwagon completely uninformed. I wonder what they would learn if they actually watched the show?

Well DUH! That whole "Judge not lest you be judged" thing is the first bit of Christian teaching to go out the window, it seems to me.

I remember years ago, I was in church and heard my pastor condemning "Monty Python's Life of Brian" in a sermon. Afterward, I went to greet him and asked him if he had seen the movie, and figured out for himself that it was blasphemous. He said he didn't need to see it -- he trusted other Christian leaders to convey the truth of the matter for him.

I said, "Are you sure THEY saw the film? Because I went to see it, and I saw nothing that could be considered as saying anything negative about Jesus or God."

That made him think, but he said nothing for sure after that. Two years later, he was quoting from the movie in a sermon. That was as close as I ever got to hearing him admit he was wrong.

You know if God got her period, that would explain the whole "there's goin be a floody, floody", "oops I killed all my peeps"- bad press she got.

As a transsexual that wouldn't happen. Or am I being too analytical?

It's crackin Jesus man... of course it would happen.... she would bleed rainbows of blood... then paint menstrual art with it....

While being slightly more appealing than teh Southern Baptists, I'll still give it a pass.
