Shannon brought up an interesting point she learned this week in history the other day. We're connecting a lot of dots this week around religion. That Jesus likely was a Budhist trained monk, stolen at birth and never actually died on the cross. Enlightenment generally revolves around realizing "God dwells within", as Elizabeth Gilbert might say, or as the mind, as God. In other words I am God. So it comes full circle when Shan hops in the car and says, "Did you know the hebrew translation of God, Yahweh, derived from the verb "to be", means I am. "No effing way", I respond.

The 'I AM' explanation comes from the Bible
Exodus 3
13 Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”
14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

However that doesn't seem to be what the Hebrew word says. A more literal study of Hebrew is that the Y means 'He' coupled with HWY meaning becomes or becoming i.e. He who becomes or creates - the Creator.
