The United States of America like the Greeks, the Romans, and the Soviet Union will fall. It's not a question of if, it's a question of when. If not completely, then by it's social-economic structure. Karl Marx predicted the inevitability of capitalism to become socialism, and then communism. We could suggest that Marx had no relative knowledge of world government, or even a right to speak on such matters as he lived a mostly spoiled intellectual life void of experience in the complexities of the average day man. (or woman) The truth is factors such as The Collapse Gap which we use to measure the downfall of a civilization has never been larger than the US has currently, and is exponentially more than that of previous fallen empires. Unemployment at 10%, a housing market in distress, the stock market on the verge of a “double dip” collapse are all symptoms of this modern day Babylon beginning to falter. Take for instance Dr. Panarin,who has a PhD in political science, US economics, and worked for the Russian equivalent for the NSA, who was responsible for strategic forecasts during Boris Yeltsin's presidency and who after gathering data presented it to a delegate conference on warfare:

Karl Marx suggested that communism is “the real movement which abolishes the present state of things “ He also states we must pass through the purgatory gates of socialism before we can reach a period that precedes capitalism called “dictatorship of the proletariat”. Unfortunately, if we subscribe to Marx's Communist Manifesto, and we assume the above predictions to be true, then we're approaching a period in history of extreme violence. Again we don't have to look very far to validate Marx's belief that change can only come from a violent revolution and could be occurring in the United States of America:

In fact even if we can selectively forget our very own congressmen are yelling “baby killer”, “you lie”or Republican candidates calling Obama “buckwheat” we must admit to ourselves that there is a great deal of evidence to suggest a revolution is afoot. However, what's a revolution without a revolutionary? Again we turn to Marx. We require someone to step from the smoke and claim leadership and lead the revolution, a dictator born in violence willing to organize and overthrow our government. Thankfully, to my knowledge no single person has risen to this challenge and according to Marx, we require this individual to make that final transition into Communism.
But could Karl Marx have been wrong. Perhaps, his Communist Manifesto was only a pseudo-factual narrative to scare the Bolshevik out of people? Was fear Marx's true motive when he wrote the Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital? Perhaps it was a criticism of unrestricted capitalism? A Dickens' Christmas Carol for economists, warning what may come if we allow the events of today to lead into tomorrow. Is it a guide book for Communism or just another ghost story? (Maybe both?)

Nightmare on my street! What Marx had done was manifested into this world from his own words and ideas the concept of the Red Scare. (He sort of founded modern communism at the same time.) Sure he'd never get to see his dark contribution to mankind become uber cool, but in 1917 during World War I, Karl's little mental time bomb took effect on the American public with widespread “hysteria provoked by a mounting fear and anxiety that a Bolshevik revolution in America was imminent — a revolution that would change church, home, marriage, civility, and the American way of life."vi It was during this time Russia was being transformed into the Soviet Union, and quite oddly enough Russians loved Marx. Especially Vladimir Lenin who owned a Я люблю Karl (I love Karl) T-shirt and rose to power under the ideals of Marxism.

In other words, Vladimir made a very Marxist statement. He was starting an intentional fire. That fire being the revolution. Mr Lenin had begun his journey from a lawyer casually reading Das Kapital, to the embodiment of Marx's dictatorship of the proletariat by 1917. In the years that followed Marxism rule would spread to over 1/3rd of the world (now 1/4th) marking one of the fastest and widespread growths in power in the history of mankind.viii What was Karl Marx's contribution to society, and the future of society? Splitting the world in two. A rift in thought, culture, and belief which would define the economic powers till modern times.
That divide and the fear is still present today, deeply rooted, especially in the American psyche. The idea that horrible, evil communism is ready to destroy America; is often used in political argument against opposing thought and opinion. The real question however was, what was Marx's intentions when he wrote these documents? On the surface we might say that he envisioned an anti-communist economic change by the words he wrote, or we could suggest that he was even more clever and created a document, the likes of which, is a psychological mind-play, one that brings about the intended consequences opposite of what they appears to be. Marx wasn't stupid, and one must truly wonder if his intentions weren't more sinister. (Some say he was a communist rather than a concerned citizen of the middle class.)ix Take for instance Ron L. Hubbard, a modern science fiction writer who made the statement: “The way to make a million dollars is to start a religion.” and a few years later he did just that by starting Scientology.x In contrast, Marx is noted for making that following statement:

Despite being personally fond of a Darwinist evolutionary approach, what Marx understood that Hubbard also understood, religion like economics can be powerful forces to which once you're able to wield, makes those in control very powerful people. Some people even refer to Marxism as the Gospel of Marx.xi

Of course all this fear, all this confusion is nothing if people don't give the words and concepts of Das Kapital and The Communist Manifesto the power over them.

Just like modern terrorism is more a concept of “fear of the people” rather than actual (repetitive) terrorists attack. We manifest these fears from the words, or singular events of the past expecting future events to occur often when they don't. He must have knew this when he suggested that people with increasingly abundant wealth disproportionate to your own are the enemy. Sound familiar? Osama Bin Laden has stated that materialism and “American wealth of western society is a vile and degrading influence” and has used such verbiage as a reason behind 9/11. (Lenin is noted for saying “we shall not disguise our terrorism"xiii in a coincidental parallel.)
Knowing these facts we must conclude much of Karl Marx's vision of Christmas future involves a world in which European and American governments are overthrown, and eventually become communist. When a violent revolution occurs, and we find ourselves in a lucid reality where Americans stand side by side with their Ushankas in their hands singing:

We will no longer be American, but individuals who have come to realize communism is the end result of our economic history. Our surrender will be capitulation, acceptance, and we will then not be conquered by communist but changed by capitalism into that which we once feared. To stand back with our comrades and say we've arrived at our destination: communism. Marx's master plan, decades in the making finally is complete: The fall of capitalism. The fall of America.
