My Bissell Vs Dirt Devil Vacuum Cleaner

Let me preface this one by saying I didn't expect to be writing about my vacuum cleaner. It was after being completely shocked and awed, that I decided I needed to share the wealth of information I've learned in the last few hours with my readers. I also don't consider myself a "dirty" person. Okay, yes "dirty", but not "dirty".It started out like any other Vacuum, a Dirt Devil Bagged Vacuum Cleaner. It's lasted us 5 years, and the cord is now frayed, the vacuum chamber requires duct-tape to seal properly, and the hose is now starting to get cracks in it. It was time to go. It wasn't as though it wasn't working, or atleast I thought. I was assured that my patchwork had allowed us to maintain the usefulness of this apparatus much longer than an average person would have used it.
Let me suggest to anyone of the same frame of mind, trying to save a few pennies by not replacing your Vacuum, you really should consider what I'm about to show you:
So here it is: My 5 Year Old Dirt Devil Vacuum Cleaner, complete with my special vacuum seal duct tape technique I developed myself:

So, we ripped open our Wal-Mart Bissell PowerForce Vacuum (Ooooh PowerForce, it sounds scary.) and assemble it. Plug it in, and do a little test spot on the rug. HOLY MOTHER OF KEITH HOLLIDAY! The Bagless cylinder was almost full.

Apparently the old vacuum was somehow generating dirt, rather than sucking it. I showed the kids, and all three of us did a simultaneous "EWWWWW!!!!!" to think that has been in our carpet! It even felt softer. The vacuum also didn't have the "Rattle, Kbing, Kapang" sound that occurred with the old one.
So based on my scientific research, and independent research a brand new Bissell Vacuum Cleaner is a much better vacuum cleaner than a five year old Dirt Devil, but than again I'm no Consumer Reports.
