Don't like who you work with? Don't tell your customers.

So I'm shopping at Lowes on New Garden today. Got my items and I'm at the check out.
The cashier starts scanning the items and breaks into this tirade about one of the baggers. I looked around figuring she was talking to a co-workers but she was talking to me.
Turns out the bagger she didn't care for was autistic. She was complaining he was slow and said that she could at least yell at teenagers. But she can't say much of anything to "those kind of people" bcause they just don't get it.
This chapped my ass. First off, I'm sure the guy is doing the best he can. But you know, this is a free country and everyone can have their a-hole opinions if they want.
But why share this with a customer? Any consideration that this may not be the smart thing to do? Obviously not.
I called the manager listed at the bottom of the receipt. I spoke to him about the situation and wouldn't you know it, one of his boys is autistic. You could hear the steam boiling out his voice as he kept a professional tone. He assured me not to worry as that issue would be taken care of immediately.
Something tells me someone lost a job, or at least got written up, before I even got home to unload.
