Killer deal, it was one that Chance wanted, and while the reviews are as expected, (need a super dark room, and lacks clarity) it is a toy. However the Eyeclops mini projector is selling at Toys R Us for $99, and higher at some online retailers.... so if you need a last minute gift for the kids.... this is super cheap. We ordered one tonight for Christmas and Amazon says it will make it in time on standard shipping (about $6) making this a killer deal for a LCD projector.

Kids can project movies, video games, and more with the Eyeclops Mini Projector. Designed for ages eight and older, this portable digital projector fits in the palm of your hand and projects a screen size of up to 60 inches! All you need for big-screen excitement is a dark room and standard RCA cables to connect the Eyeclops to your favorite media player or game console. With an optional battery pack for projection on-the-go, you'll never lose sight of the big picture!

Crazy thing is, I saw this hit on one of the Amazon lightning deals over thanksgiving week for even cheaper. I almost got one on a lark because of the ridiculously low price alone!

It's remarkably difficult to find any specs on this thing.

Like resolution?
Lumens?

I get the impression that the lumens are about equivalent of an elderly glow worm - the illumination is provided by LED and a 1 watt LED is about the price of the projector, but what is the resolution? I'm guessing that since they don't say it's 640x480?

Which is why I held off getting one for even the novelty aspect.

Well from the reviews, some say you have to be 16" to see the pictures, other reviews say they've shot it up on the side of a house....

I think clarity is going to be an issue... but for the price and being it was Chance's #2 pick we couldn't resist when we saw it last night for that price.... They'll take it in the bathroom and have a ball shooting it on the shower wall.
