This gem was spotted the other evening on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh. Unfortunately it had already been taken down the next morning and I didn't get to witness this masterpiece first hand.

RAWR RAWR RAWR!!!! I AM THE BARRREL MONSTER!!!!

Call it artistic expression or just plain summertime boredom already setting in, it sure go the attention of the local authorities.

Barrel monster woulda been really cool with one of the hacked lane closure lightboards to display what he's saying. Perhaps he would have said Zombies Ahead. Or perhaps he'd have a different bit to babble...
