Greensboro is North Carolina's Gay San Francisco?

There's room in Alaska, the simple life, no queers and with a socialist governor who taxes corporations and redistributes the money to the people. What's not to like.

I'll be happy to never see a gay pride celebration anywhere within a 1000 miles of Greensboro.

Tons of them w/in a 1000 mile radius of Greensboro.

Yeah, I was wondering about that two. New Orleans can only be about 800 miles or so which is HUGE and New York is just up the coast maybe 600 miles- also HUGE. Philly the city of brotherly love...etc, etc.

That may make you happy BHL but I would say in this case, you may have to stay sad sir. :text-imsorry:

Hmm.... BHL is DEFINITELY one of the reasons that we homo's are so repressed and why we DON'T have the LEGAL right to marry and be recognized, and in turn, why this debate over same-sex benefits through companies is still raging. I personally would LOVE to be able to someday get married to my partner, but until we get the closed-minded, self-righteous bible thumpers out of office and get people in there that REALLY want to serve everyone equally, I just don't see that as happening in NC.

On a side note, BHL, I was raised southern baptist and went to church every sunday morning, sunday night and wednesday night, but even I can see flaws in the bible and its teachings- I'm sorry but even the WORDS OF CHRIST HIMSELF were written down by man...do you not think that man was going to record those words with his own twist to support his own agenda? The Bible is NOT meant to be an all-inclusive and indicative rulebook for how to live one's life...every person, man, woman, child, straight, gay, bi, black, white, asian, etc will interpret the bible differently and if you take it to be a concrete playbook for life, hey thats great---FOR YOU---but to quote what I have heard MANY MANY times before coming from heterosexuals....your beliefs and how you live is fine and dandy but that does NOT mean that you can force it down my throat.

And anyway, what is a closed-minded heterosexual doing reading an article on gays anyway? Kind of makes me wonder that he could possibly be repressing his own sexual desires? Just a thought.
