Went to Moe's on Monday, and forget to mention we met David, Greensboro's Magician. We got there late, and he was about to leave but made time for the kids. Really great magic that made Ren's face light up!

What's better is on his website it lists that not only does he do the gig at the Battleground Moe's but also Wendover, and in High Point... and each night, the kids eat for .99 cents. I guess if you're that much of a Moe's fan you could feed the kids 3x a week for under a buck. This really is one of the coolest things a local restaurant provides.

Wonder if I can talk Shan in hiring him for my birthday?

Coooooooool. i love magic/illusions. when I was in highschool, a couple of my classmates did magic shows on the weekends. I was content to enjoy the show and not figure out how they did their tricks.

Well I was 12" from David, and I couldn't figure them out.... He was good. I sat there along with the kids amazed as can be that I wasn't able to figure them out.

A good magician is definitely worth their pay. I love seeing a good show with well-designed illusions that keep you guessing. Saw one guy in Hawaii once -- managed to shred a $100 bill, the cut it out, intact, from the center of a lemon.
