Be vewwy quiet! I'm hunting Bin Laden!

by SouthernFriedInfidel | Published on June 15th, 2010, 9:00 am | Religion
A man who claims God is on his side was found hunting Osama bin Laden in the Pakistan countryside. He was arrested, of course. I would assume it was for his own protection. After all, if you have God on your side (as well as a pistol and a sword) -- you're not really likely to last very long if you DO happen across the most wanted man in the world.

The Californian named Gary Brooks Faulkner was carrying a pistol, a sword, night-vision equipment and Christian religious books, said Mumtaz Ahmed, a police chief in the area.
...
Faulkner told police that he had no intention of killing bin Laden, Ahmed said. But police believed he was trying to kill bin Laden because of the weapons he was carrying, according to Ahmed

No, he was going to convert him to Christianity using his magic books.

How do you get a pistol through airport security?
This is our chance to change things, this is our destiny.

You know, in all the years that bin Laden has been America's favorite bogeyman, I don't recall ever hearing a single Christian proposing to solve the problem by converting him or any al Qaeda member to Christianity. One would think that would have been a primary option, get him forgiven by God and on his way to heaven. All we ever hear about is Christians who believe God wants this guy dead.

Maybe God thought a 60' fiberglass Jesus was Osama. They look uncannily similar

Oh they`re out there converting... spreading Jesus all over the Muslims... eventually it will get to him. It`s just that Jesus is a highly viscoscious liquid.

Not that it's any excuse for me not knowing the correct one.... but I was on a cell phone with no spell check....

Though I still swear there's a word called "viscoscious."

It sure looks like a nice, usable word. I like it... but you won't find it in the OED. :character-oldtimer:

I've always said upfront I can't spell... Though I must admit, I've gotten better in the last few years... and when all else fails, I've got my good old trusty Google toolbar with built-in spell check!!!
