Celebrate Christmas by being a pest

Rift: Religion

December has certainly brought an uptick in the number of posts from people trying to get the heathens to "see the light." Makes me wonder if this is some warped means of celebrating the Christmas holiday.

I always thought of Christmas as a time of sharing love and presents with family and friends. Putting up colorful, cheery light displays, putting a warm fire in the fireplace, sharing love to warm the cold winter month... that sort of thing.

Who figures that now is a great time to drop all that and go tell religious outsiders that if they don't repent from sinning, they'll go to hell? And posting multiple videos of (eurrrrgh....) Ray Comfort?? Boy howdy -- that's a GREAT sort of Christmas season there! Makes me pine for my days as a Christian.

You have to laugh at the irony of Ray Comfort being presented as an example of Absolute Truth, Perfect Logic and Deep Thought.

So for Old Time Christmas giggles:

What better way to spread cheer then by saving souls?

We all got a problem and here is the great solution!

I don't think Ray Comfort is an example of "Absolute Truth, Perfect Logic and Deep Thought."

As I said before all physical beings change.
Ray Comfort is human.
Ray Comfort changes.

However he simplify's some concepts and debunks myths quite well.

I never said he was perfect.
Only one person can claim that. Jesus, who was fully man and fully God.

I don't understand how come I am unable to convince you.

My logic is sound.
I hope I am being persuasive.
I being as genuine as I possibly can.

Did I miss something?

That's not the point of this thread. The point is... give it a rest, enjoy your friends and family and stop bothering people who don't share your religious beliefs. We'll be here next week, promise. And if not.... you've already done your part.

You missed the part where pretty much every non-Christian on this board has heard everything you present dozens of times before, and found them unconvincing.

You sound genuinely hurt that your presentations aren't changing any minds, and that's a pity. I don't know you personally, but I would hope you could have a nice, happy time regarding your religion's festival. I plan to unplug from this site as of this afternoon to concentrate on enjoying the holiday in my own way: supporting my wife through her hard time, playing with my son and cats, seeing a couple of movies I haven't had a chance to get to up to now.

Relax. Merry Christmas. C-ya next week.

Yes, you are preaching not debating.

That's not a therapod! It's a turkey! Turkeys make turkeys and dinosaurs make dinosaurs.

Anyway Merry Christmas!

3 : to participate in a debate

Preach

ECO.... all you can do is present the truth in the Gospel of Jesus the Christ. You can't convict them. Only the Holy Spirit has the power to do so. Still, I enjoy your posts and you videos very much and hope you keep posting. Merry Christmas!
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second,it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
