Rather like the Adventure game you can map your way through any Internet blog discussion on the topic.

LOL... I remember a lot of those arguments.... I must admit, got a lot easier when I figured out nothing they say matters at all....
This is our chance to change things, this is our destiny.

Again... it's using God as an excuse to defend their own immature beliefs.

What about the people that are not religious & want to preserve the tradition of marriage? Then again I am going as Santa to Temple for Hanukkah.

I think we'd need to define what "traditional" means, since historically.... it's not monogamous always nor the male and female concept that I believe you're alluding to.

If you want marriage to be just a man and a woman, just because you want it that way then I'd say there's several adjectives to describe that behavior, none of which are positive, nor is it equal which therefore makes it unconstitutional, illegal and therefore, thank God (ha the Irony!!!) negating the argument since ultimately it doesn't matter. Now however by some off chance our legal system is torted in such a way in which same sex marriage isn't legalized at some point, then our country will have suffered damage beyond repair and your belief may bring about the fall of our great empire.

What about them?

They are welcome to have 1,000 wives in the traditional manner or just one in the more recent tradition and preserve it away to their heart's content. People can preserve classic Corvettes without trying to stop people buying WRX's

Some of these arguments are actually valid.

To be honest it exceeded my expectations, bright colorful, simple.

However God loves homosexuals!
He loves them so much he sacrificed Jesus on the cross so that all could go to him and be saved!

Jesus died for the sinners. Not the self-righteous!

If you can't tell your a sinner how can you ask for forgiveness?

"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" (1 Corinthians 6:19)

John 8:3-20
3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 † This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 † She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. 13 The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true. 14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. 15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. 16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. 17 † It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. 18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. 19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. 20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

Look! Truth! Look! Logic!
Don't deny salvation!

Jesus loves prostitutes!

1 John 5:1-4
1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world.

Hm. Interesting tidbit: this graph shows that 51% of all people of voting age in California support gay marriage. If that held true, Prop 8 would have failed. Something doesn't add up there. My guess would be that the results were skewed by one side motivating its voters to the polls over the other... which is of course a shame. Too many people in this country fail to exercise their civic muscles.

Just because half the state supports it, doesn't mean everyone came out and voted that day....

Plus... they did skew prop 8 campaign, and twist it so bad that it's possible you may have voted for prop 8 thinking it was in support of gay marriage... it was horrible.

Yup. I think many that voted for gay marriage meant to vote against it. Margin should have been larger.

Sour grapes I'm seeing here.

No stinky poo!!! Gay is the totally new fab fad rocking the nation!!! First there was Jesus turning them frowns upside down, now there's "Heyzeus": your flaming rainbow wearing, fence jumping illegal immigrant taking those sour grapes and making an alcoholic beverage so darn da-da-delicious that Christians everywhere are dropping drawers and joining in!!!
