Parents asked to change their son's name

Bloody bureaucrats. Seriously, what is wrong with some people? I heard this report about a THREE YEAR OLD deaf kid named Hunter, who is in a state run pre-school. All his life, he's been taught his name-sign (both hands with first two finger crossed) and he responds to that sign... but when he got to school, he and his parents were told he needs to change that.

Why?

Because the name sign violates -- wait for it...! -- the school system's WEAPON policy. Yeah... the way his parents use the name sign, it kind looks like a VERY stylized gesture that is similar to someone firing a pair of pistols. And that's covered in the weapon policy. Seriously. The kids name is HUNTER... maybe the NAME itself violates the policy too. If not, maybe they need to tighten up the rules some.

Bloody people are NOT right.
