It really sounds like a cool idea to me. Make a listing of all the members of Congress, map them to the places they represent, and allow the user to enter a zip code or use their current location to find who the representative and/or senator is.

To make it appealing, the catalog of these people would be done in caricature, and it would be programmed so that the head would wobble if the iPhone it's on was shaken. Sounds pretty harmless to me.

Apple disagreed. I think they are a little too sensitive about this. And I bet very few members of Congress would have objected.

Oh well...

I'm sorry, but I still don't get the whole Apple craze anyways. The phones and computers are over priced, and maybe I'm just getting old but who needs a million apps on their cell phone?

Me... I buy one freaking game: "Tetris". It gets me through the doctors visits, and the layovers, or just standing in line....
This is our chance to change things, this is our destiny.

I agree regarding the apps thing. I have a few free apps -- including 3 games. Myself, I wouldn't bother with the Congress app. But some people might find it useful or something.

Location: 5th circle of hell -- actually not very crowded at the moment.
