It's a bird, it's dog, It's a turkey? But it tastes like chicken.... Zoology experts gasp at the latest mystery creature.

A stout, hairless creature with a beak, claws, and the almond-shaped eyes familiar from renderings of space aliens, it looked, in short, like a monster.

A number of eyewitnesses say they saw the monster with their own eyes. Via

Not yet they don't. It's bloggers and the media that are gasping. Experts will quickly determine what it is but that will after the wild speculation is done and will be forgotten or labelled a 'government coverup'

My guess is that it's a partially digested or decomposed dog. But we'll see.

We have dogs that look quite like that.

"I saw the monster," says Michael Meehan, a 22-year-old waiter at the Surfside Inn, which sits above the beach where the monster washed up. "I just came walking down the beach and everyone was looking at it. No one knew what it was. It kind of looked like a dog, but it had this crazy-looking beak.

If we take a dog skull, superimpose it on the photo we see that the 'crazy-looking beak' looks rather like an exposed dog skull.

So to me it looks like a dog, it's snout is partially eaten, floating in the sea long enough to partially decompose (or possibly swallowed and later regurgitated).

I don't know who 'they' are but the dentition is consistent with a dog and not with a rodent

On the first photo you can clearlsy see 3 premolars and the carnassial. On the second you can see the canines.

The upper jaw is missing its teeth and the incisors , but the nasal cavity is consistent with a dog.

This picture shows a pit bull skull with the 'monster'.

compare with this large rodent skull

That's not a rodent & I'll bet real money it's a pit bull

What is this strange creature? A mutant hedgehog or a pitbull that met a porcupine?
