Domino's Steak Fanatic Pizza Recipe

So I'm sure you've seen the commercial: The one where there are two guys watching their big screen TV, in such a stereotypical "male-watching-football game" pose. The doorbell rings, and the guy stares at his Domino's Steak Fanatic Pizza as if its the manliest pizza in the world. Then you hear the other guy yell out "Hurry up, there is only 20 figurines left!" to which the Domino's guy gives the other guy the "Your Queer look." The man standing at the door now frustrated yells "They're not figurines. they're STATUES!"

Did Domino's realize when they created this advertising edge aimed at masculinity they automatically eliminated perhaps the largest demographic of the pizza eating customer base?-

Women with PMS cravings?

So with the recent advertisements of Domino's 777 Deal. I thought I'd slip past the stereotype and order one of the pizzas as a Steak Fanatic Pizza. It's pretty good. Angus Steak, Mushrooms, and Onions all on a pizza that will confuse your brain a little when you bite into it. It really does taste like a steak & cheese Sub! It's quite odd because you anticipate a tomato sauce, but there isn't any. Shannon went crazy over the pizza, until I told her it was a man's pizza, in which she stopped with her mouth half full, and thought for a moment, then said "Really?" in a distorted mouth full of food way. Followed up by a "Who cares, its freaking good!" And, I agree. Something different, and something unique.

First make your pizza dough, recipe here.

For Dominos Steak Fanatic Pizza:

Chop steak & onion into thin, small chunks.
Add salt, onion, onion powder, garlic, paprika, red & black pepper, water, & vinegar into skillet.
Cook to meat is medium raw on medium-high heat.
Add Mushrooms.
Assemble pizza and bake @ 450F for 9 minutes.

Yesterday was a slow day for me. Feeling like crap, I barely managed to get a few chores done. I really didn't even have the stamina to stare at the computer screen. (You know it's bad then.) So we decided to do something quick and easy last night, and make cheese steak pizza. Oh gosh it's good too. Yes, it's patterned after Domino's Steak Fanatic Pizza... (Recipe included) and oh it's good. We use the Top round because it's low fat, but a better cut of steak would make it even more tasty. Plus it's nice because you don't have to prepare a marinara sauce. Just proof some dough, chop some meat, and bake for about 10 minutes. It went really well with watching the movie "The Bank Job" last night.

It's working for me just fine....

1. Go to Dominos.com
2. Build a medium 1-topping pizza
3. Enter coupon code bailout
4. Go pick up

Lunch solved.

Didn't work for me. They must have removed the code. :(
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second,it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Bailout' hits Domino's for 11,000 free pizzas

CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Domino's pizza chain has given away nearly 11,000 free pizzas because of a never-used promotion that a Web customer stumbled upon. Tim McIntyre, spokesman for Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Domino's, said Wednesday that the company had prepared an Internet coupon for an ad campaign that was considered in December but never activated.

McIntyre said somebody discovered that the code word "bailout" was good for a free medium pizza ordered online. The information quickly spread Monday night on the Web, until the code was deactivated Tuesday morning.

The owner of 14 Domino's locations in the Cincinnati area says his stores gave away more than 600 pies. Owner John Glass told The Cincinnati Enquirer that Domino's promised to reimburse him for the pizzas

I'm keen to say not even a "bailout" free Dominos pizza is going to get me to buy a pizza from the big red white and blue Dominos anymore.... I will never be able to eat another one of there pizzas without thinking about the banana pepper in the guys nose.

CONOVER, N.C. -- Video of an intended prank posted online showed a pizza employee sticking ingredients up his nose and sneezing on food.

consumerist.com
Conover police have issued arrest warrants for two Domino's Pizza employees, whose identities were not immediately released. A statement from the company indicated that it will also pursue criminal and legal action against the two, who were terminated from the franchise.

"As you can imagine, we are appalled by the actions of these individuals and they do not represent the 125,000 hard-working men and women of Domino’s Pizza across the country and in 60 countries around the world," the statement read.

The company indicated that the former employees confessed to a “prank” and they claimed the food was not served to customers.

This gets filed under the heading of "never post video of a crime on the internet."

Whether the stuff involved was not served to customers isn't really the point, is it? They appear to have staged their prank in their workplace. Talk about misconduct on the job!

Blithering idiots...

Well, if that's the case, here's something that'll keep you from ever going to England again -- or Algeria, perhaps.

Oh dear! I hope this doesn't get widely advertised or we will have hundreds of disgruntled people doing this. I don't much like Domino's pizza, but I feel sorry for the compan and its employees. This has the potential to seriously damage their business. And I don't believe for a second their claim that they didn't serve that stuff to customers.
