| I imagine the depth of the Bog is less than a couple feet these days. |
It used to be a nice place, still is, but climate change and lack of maintenance has taken a toll on the pond. A poor turtle gasped for air among the sludge. A "sand-bar" which appeared about 10 years ago, is now over grown with 20 foot trees. Perhaps this is a sign of the economy, but Greensboro's gem is slowly evaporating, literally.
